REVIEW: "NON-STOP" by Jayne Waterford

Jaume Collet-Serra's "NON-STOP" (2014) was a little tense. We really didn't know who was going to be guilty but the guilty party is a path that had been trod before.

I was reminded of of Jody Foster's predicament in Robert Schwentke's "FLIGHT PLAN" (2005). Only this is completely different.

Neeson's character had the bonus of all of those violent flight references in Joe Carnahan's "THE GREY" (2011). He seems to be the same troubled drinker afflicted with loss. 5/10

I call this inoffensive. One point for Moore being purely pretty in a supportive way.

Official Blurb "In "NON-STOP", U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks learns he has only hours to find a killer aboard a transatlantic flight. What follows is a nail-biting cat and mouse game played at 40,000 feet, with the lives of 200 passengers hanging in the balance.

Coming off his smash hit Olivier Megaton's "TAKEN 2" (2012), Liam Neeson partners once again with "UNKNOWN" (2011) director Jaume Collet-Serra and

producer Joel Silver. This time Collet-Serra goes a step further, plunging the audience into a movie that is at once a labyrinthine mystery, a high-octane action picture and a twist-filled Hitchcockian thriller where no one can be trusted and everyone is a suspect.

Bill Marks (Lian Neeson) is a burned-out veteran of the Air Marshals service. He views the assignment not as a life-saving duty, but as a desk job in the sky. However, todayís flight will be no routine trip.

Shortly into the transatlantic journey from New York to London, he receives a series of mysterious text messages ordering him to have the government transfer $150 million into a secret account, or a passenger will die every 20 minutes. What follows is a nail-biting cat and mouse game played at 40,000 feet, with the lives of 200 passengers hanging in the balance.

"NON-STOP" isnít just an action film, but a 500mph rush of adrenaline, suspense and excitement." - STUDIOCANAL DISTRIBUTION PR
